The heart is the motor of our existence. This can be seen on a biological as well as a spiritual level. Compared to the sun, the heart of our planetary system, it not only generates warmth but also influences the orbiting planets. Applied to our everyday life, our heart should be understood as a machine of love. It feeds us with positivity to brighten our own lives and the lives of others.

The rays of our heart, like the sun, reach much further than one would expect at first glance and can even be recognised as stars in foreign galaxies.

At the exhibition OPEN inside Mahalla Berlin , COR illuminated the dark walls of a machine room in the basement of the hall.

Metaphorically, the engine room can be seen as the heart of a building. Those a symbiosis of building and artwork was created, cloaking the premises in a warm, positive light. In the shadow play created by the filters, one could see the organic structure of the glowing heart.
